FAmily Pictures
It was lots of fun on Sunday, thanks to everyone for coming and taking the family pictures, It may be the last picture that we have taken with Grandma Mortimer. She was so confused yesterday, (Monday night) it was a real challenge and Aunt Donna Jean was so concerned that she came over until 12:30 am. I think that I"m going to get a digital picture frame and put the pictures taht Natalie took with her camera, it's cute to watch everyone move frame to frame. I can't wait to see the pictures of the children in the leaves. A very big thank you to Sarah and Joseph for taking the pictures. THankyou. We love you and your family as much as if you were part of us naturally. Love to everyone. Oh, forgot, if you all take time to read this, would you please ask your children what they remember about Grandma Mortimer. We have memories from the Grandchildren from earlier, now we would like to put together memories from the great grandchildren, even the little ones like Danyl and Savannah if you can get them to name something.

Alaric's Adventure
Here is the story... Alaric was going to go over to a friends house to play night games. Michael told Nathan to walk him across the street jokingly, but the pair took him seriously, while Michael was getting the car to drive Alaric over to his friends house, Nathan took Alaric over to the corner by the bank and dropped him off, then ran back. Michael had called Alaric's name but he was out of earshot. Michael pulled out of the driveway turning to go and pick Alaric up and saw that he was already in the median with one car stopped. Michael was going to turn the car around but looked up with just enough time to see the car next to the one stopped hit Alaric.
Alaric was hit in the leg with the bumper of the car, went up onto the hood of the car and then hit his head on the drivers side mirror breaking it (this was the only damage to the car). Alaric, being so scared got up and ran to the grass area by the library and collapsed. He said that he didn't want to get hit again, and was afraid that if he stayed lying in the road he would.

Now that we have been to the Orthopedic Specialist and he says that he can't see a break, Alaric is being weaned off his crutches slowly, and is getting some physical therapy. We will keep you posted on what is happening next.

The Apple Press

so.... here is what I think we should build. I know we have the carriage bolts... (we gave them to dad....) and I'm pretty sure that with exploring the shed... we can find just about everything we need. I'm drafting up the instructions.... so we know what sizes to cut everything... There should be enough scrap wood at Rachaels.......
I'll post my drafted images shortly....
